MK Ink lounge is a brand that was developed by Katie Lusk in the Spring of 2024. The fantastical moody feminine divine aesthetic is what drove me to create this system. When talking to the client (Mary) she had expressed to me she is an artist and some of her favorite things are halloween and plants. She loves to draw feminine like bugs and has a knack for vines.
Poster series done that has won UDA Bronze award from a poster design submission. Throughout these works I went through many iterations and have decided on these. The photo and images compliment well and interact with one another. They are playful and informative.
MK ink lounge has this luxury feel to it. This brochure definitely sets that tone with the matte dark looks to the exterior gatefold and the brightness of the interior gleaming with the information the viewer wants to know so badly.
With this iteration of MK Inks products the box again tells you its high end quality because of the customization. each box is carefully assembled and not mass produced. the products at hand are a repairing gel and and a numbing cream which could act like a kit for when in preparation of scheduling a tattoo.
The formal elements to Mk INK lounge were ideated at this point in the process. the luxury component was coming into play as the envelope is full customization too. with a minimal and mystical vibe the vines give off to the viewer. The sticker or wax seal was a special incorporation to the project and really sets that tone.
